Spring has sprung; and as much as we’re anticipating the “May flowers,” there’s no getting around the “April showers,” first—(even though we’d like to skip that part).
As we’re stepping into the first week of April and looking forward to warmer weather, let us be reminded that in order to “reap a harvest” of success in any area of life, we have to be willing to go through the pruning stage—we have to learn to handle the rain. Before we can enjoy the gift of satisfaction, there must be a reason to feel satisfied…and that reason must come from you.
We all have goals, we all have dreams, and we all have our own way of getting there. No matter how different those paths may look, there is one thing that is the same for everyone: there will be trials and stumbling blocks along the way, and it will be up to you, alone, in choosing how to maneuver around them.
As long as we don’t quit despite the “rain”, we will reap the harvest of our efforts. Take one day at a time, and remember that “this too shall pass”…the flowers are only days away.
